ClayCo is a family-owned and operated horizontal auger boring business. They specialize in getting utilities under highways, roads, bodies of water, and railroads while maintaining the integrity of the soil as well as grade requirements. We built their first website when we first moved to GJ in 2011 and recently gave it a refresh on a WordPress platform in addition to some lightning-fast hosting on a Linux VPS.
ClayCo had been in business for many years without an official logo to speak of. This was Mike’s first commissioned logo design in 2011. It’s had some slight facelifts since then for ease of printing, but has remained mostly unchanged. The ‘C’ is reminiscent of looking down one of the casing pipes that their augers slide into for removing earth for underground services.
