Nielson Hardwoods Logo Refresh

Nielson Hardwoods came to Melinda McCaw Media in need of a new website and didn’t even know their logo was going to get a serious refresh. The original artwork had a misplaced apostrophe making the year not make sense, the typography had been stretched in a way that no original typography designer would like to see, and the legibility was suffering due to a lack-luster gradient. The simple fix, completely redraw it and use a clean and clear typeface (font) that would increase legibility greatly while still staying true to the initial intention of the badge style logo.
